When the Crabs Go Marching In
We were in Exmouth walking along the beach and came across the Exmouth crab marching band, check out these babies, they were pretty cute actually, if they were fully grown I would have been screaming and running back to the dunes but it was good to watch the babies march towards the sea.

Crabs used to FREAK Jez out whwn he was little.
ReplyDeleteOn a trip to Venice Beach (that is CRAWLING with crabs just under the sand), he was ok until the waves washed in and out. On receding, all the little crabs were exposed. One screaming child had to carried all the way back to the road.
My sis lives on Christmas Island, and she has red crabs in her toilet when it's migration time - YUCK!!
I do like your pretty purple crabs Ann. Not sure if Jez would though...
Thats funny, its always the boys that are afraid of the creepie crawlies!
