Golden Orb Spider

We have this golden orb spider in our back yard that has slowly been taking over the whole garden.  I finally took the time yesterday to have a good look at him and he is so weird, his face/back of his head looks like a skull, I took a photo for you all to see....

I hate spiders, I am getting the heebie geebie's just looking at him, time to go Mr Golden Orb!!

Chelsea - New Painting

I wanted to try something completely different and just loved the photography of my god daughter Chelsea so decided to recreate it......

This is now hanging at her home so I guess if they like it, it was a success!!

Learmonth Jetty, Exmouth

I have been doing an acrylic workshop and have been gradually falling back in love with acrylics.  After using pastels for so long and being so enthusiastic about them it is good to use another medium.  It did take me a while to get back into acrylics as I am so impatient by nature and you have to wait for the drying time eeeek it kills me to have to wait for things but good things come to those who are patient.

Hope you like my latest piece, it is of Learmonth Jetty in Exmouth.  Not quite sure if it is entirely finished yet, I keep going back and adding little bits and pieces on but I think I need to down tools and just be satisfied with what I have produced.

Keep posted I have a fabulous piece coming next, if I do say so myself ha ha.  I have been so excited about it and even dreaming about painting it, pity that little thing called my "Real Job" gets in the way, I could have finished it by now.....
